Connie Williams is happy to bring to our community a mission to empower and increase knowledge and resources for homeownership and financial literacy geared towards the underserved and under-resourced consumers to revitalize neighborhoods and increase homeownership through equitable resources and services. As a powerful force in community advocacy whether it is for homeownership, homelessness, rental, pre-foreclosure, and housing counseling, while collaborating with strategic partners and volunteerism.
As a former mortgage banker, Consula’s career spans more than 30 years with a focus on affordable housing and community development, with a positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to promote fair and equitable treatment to all consumers through financial literacy and homeownership. With a degree in Business Administration, Connie is proud to have serviced numerous consumers to achieve and retain the dream of homeownership. Connie believes that homeownership and financial literacy are the solutions to bridging wealth and closing the homeownership gaps in low-to-moderate income and minority communities.
Connie’s very excited and honored to be part of the BMO Community & Homeownership Advancement Team to serve low-income and minority residents as we promote Democracy in Housing. as a Certified U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD), Connie works to help provide services in the community aimed at educating the public on fair housing and predatory lending. The counseling services include financial literacy, pre-purchase education, post-purchase education, resolving or preventing mortgage delinquency, displacement and relocation, and rental education.
When she isn't working, Connie prioritizes time with her family and enjoys the many recreational and social opportunities of the Southern California area. She loves the area for its friendly hometown atmosphere, along with its vibrant festivals, live concerts, and abundant outdoor activities. With an avid belief in giving back to the community by supporting local charities and organizations. She is also active with her church and is dedicated to serving and promoting financial literacy and homeownership for its residents of the High Desert cities of Victorville, Hesperia, Apple Valley, Adelanto, Barstow, and the Northern L.A. County Area.
