Peter Mateo will be the project lead for the San Manuel Landing team and will be responsible for the management of the project budget, scope, and schedule. In this role, Peter will manage the consultants and their deliverables and ensure the project will be delivered on time and on budget.
Peter serves as the Director of Planning and Development for the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians (“Tribe”). In that role, he is responsible for the management of existing and future real estate assets and for the development, design, and execution of architectural and engineering capital projects for Tribal real estate holdings and investment interests. He oversees the preparation of individual property and project estimates, budgets, cash-flow projections, project cost controls, change orders and schedules. Peter also leads all forward planning and real estate acquisitions for the Tribe and is charged with helping diversify their assets and provide new business opportunities for their enterprise.
Peter is a registered civil engineer and has been licensed since 2005. He has approximately 20 years of design, construction and development experience. He has experience in engineering, land secured financing, private equity, and land development fields. In his previous position, Peter served Lewis Management Corp. as a Vice President of Project Management and worked on the development of various master planned communities in the Inland Empire.
