"Hello, my name is Joel Ortiz, and my art signature is ManoloJolinsky. I am a U.S. Navy Disabled Veteran. I studied Manufacturing Technology at Don Bosco and went into the Navy in July of 1985.
I was assigned to the Submarine Repair Ship USS Dixon AS-37, where I learned about INTEGRITY, LOYALTY, QUALITY CONTROL, AND PRIDE OF WORKMANSHIP. I received an Honorable Discharge in July of 1993, having served 8 years. As my Veterans Health Disabilities became more complex, I tapered down in the welding assignments as a Welding Technician and turned to Welding Art for therapy. I told myself I needed to keep my mind focused on some of my passions, one of which has always been metal art. I took up Photography and decided to put my photography and welding together and here we are WELDED WALL ART by MANOLOJOLINSKY."
