Chairman’s Welcome Message

HCSB Inaugural Event

October 14, 2022

Welcome, distinguished guests, to our inaugural event – Advancing Small Business Communities – which celebrates the launch of Hispanic Coalition of Small Businesses (HCSB) and the close of Hispanic Heritage Month!

On behalf of the Board of Directors and our Committee Chairs & Co-Chairs, I am proud to introduce you to the Hispanic Coalition of Small Businesses. As participants of this event, you are the first to experience the leveraging power of HCSB, its Affiliate Member organizations, individual small business owners, community and government leaders, corporate partners, and other stakeholders.

One of the main reasons the HCSB was formed is to serve diverse small businesses in a geographic area that traditionally has had little support as compared to the support that small business owners receive in other metropolitan areas. HCSB is a new organization, but its leaders are well-established and experienced members of the community who have been at the helm of local, regional, statewide, and national organizations. And while HCSB was formed primarily to serve the Greater Inland Empire Region, our geographic footprint has grown (and continues to grow) throughout the states of California, Kansas, Nevada, New York, and other areas in the United States.

We have worked hard for a short 6 months since HCSB was first formed to bring you resources and contacts that will help our communities thrive. We believe that when small businesses succeed and grow, so do the communities in which their owners live and work. That’s why we include the word “communities” in our tagline and the name of this event: Advancing Small Business Communities.

We have a productive and fun Event Agenda planned for you today.

I invite you to network with other small business owners, community leaders, corporate sponsors, elected officials, and others who are here to support small business owners.

But, most importantly …

CELEBRATE!

Celebrate your small business with those who are here to support your businesses!

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month!

Celebrate our diverse cultures that are represented at this event!

Thank you,

Frank Montes
